County residents can drop-off their household waste at the transfer station as well as at the following locations. At all of these locations, except the Fairplay location, residents can also drop off recyclables such as paper, cardboard, plastic 1 and 2 only, and glass:
Please be mindful of disposing of your trash and/or recyclables in the proper containers. Also, we ask that cardboard boxes be flattened before depositing into the container.
Hazardous Waste Disposal

Tires, trash and equipment are critical breeding locations of mosquitoes. The Environmental Protection Division advises that mosquito borne diseases are among the world’s leading causes of illness today. Eliminating the potential breeding habitats for mosquitoes helps keep chances of mosquito borne diseases in check.
As always, the Recycling Station is available for the disposal of paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum, glass, household paint, cooking oil, used motor oil, household pesticides (in original containers), TV sets and used electronics. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO RECYCLE!
