Hazardous Waste Disposal

Morgan County residents can drop-off cooking oil, used motor oil, paint, household pesticides, used electronics, and household batteries at the Transfer Station Recycling Center on weekdays between 11:00 am 3:30 pm, and Saturdays between 8:00 and 12:00 pm.

Be advised that Lowes Home Improvement stores will take your compact florescent bulbs. The only places in Morgan County to dispose of the long florescent tubes from your household fixtures are the solid waste landfill disposal or with fee service mail disposal.
