The Morgan County Planning Commission consists of ten members, all of whom are residents of Morgan County, Georgia. Three of the members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Madison; one is appointed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rutledge; one by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Bostwick; one by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Buckhead; and four by the Morgan County Board of Commissioners. Member terms are three years and the appropriate governing body will make an appointment to fill an unexpired term.
